Guess who! Its me again hee~. Its been a long time since i posted so i decided its time for me to "act" like i'm doing something lols. Today's episode is on the chess jacket :)

Attention to all of our "previous chess jacket" design lovers! Sadly, that design is no longer "feasible" , after we had consultation with some of the local experts at Queensway Shopping Centre.

Reasons for not accepting the design (ignore if not in syllabus)
1)Refer to "Sunday, July 27, 2008" 7:45 pm
2)The "Jiang" in the front view which has been sperated into two cannot be placed at the bottom, it may be washed away after time, or so they say.
3)The two "JJ"s in the back view are very difficult to print, and hence is prohibitively costly to carry one with the design...
4)Well, there were a few other reasons but I was not really paying attention. XD

That was a lot to write! (phew) But thats not all :p
Well, there a couple of things we thought we should discuss, so seniors are encouraged to give us their opinion! (emphasis --> give)

1)Jacket itself. Just what it means. Well, before you print the design, you have to choose a jacket to print on. Heres where everyone comes in, do u prefer a jacket which is plain before printing or one with some design on it already (such as vertical lines) ? Feel free to vote! (emphasis --> free)

2)School logo. Just what it means. Hmm just my two cents worth, but I was thinking that if we do not put logo in our jacket, anyone can print our design and this makes their jacket exactly same as us. Wheres our sense of uniqueness? Eh, if do not want put school logo can also put Team JJ or something?

3)Others.Just what it means. Any other stuff can go in here. This is because there may be other points that we missed out, so again, everyone please feel free to express their opinions! Note: everyone's opinion is highly appreciated and taken into consideration!

Hey guyz, juz wondering should we keep the grp photo (top-right of the blog) or replace it with something else? It can be just a small group of people going for a competition or chess outing. I hope to have this year's batch of JC1s and 2s inside. Comments on the board!

Heys everyone! Its me again :P
Todays post is about Chung Cheng High school cup.

It was a long and tiring day. JJC sent a team of five to Chung Cheng cup and we almost got lost on the way. Luckily, we stalked a student couple and found our way there :D. Hahax, the place was so majestic that we could all feel its culture the moment we stepped inside XD. (actually, before we even stepped inside)

Anyways, everyone tried their best and after 7 mind draining sessions the end was annouced.(phew) We were not able to get into the top three positions :( . The winners were : TJC, Ngee ann poly, Chung Cheng themselves (1st, 2nd, 3rd positions respectively) . We were in the six in position in team overall score and that was really very hard to achieve so we are quite satisfied with our results. =D

Last but not least, there was a mini prize giving ceremony and we were given a trophy for putting in so much effort in the competition. Its a really very cute piece and is one of our few possesions in this year. We are all very proud of having it in our possesion (hee ~ xD)

Well that sums everything up. Well wishes for Team JJ and hope we can do as well every time we compete in any competition :b

Hi all! (waves to everyone) Basically this is the first time i posted on the blog, so you all can imagine that I'm very excited? Lols. Actually i want to thank all the J2,3,4 for coming to support us on the days of sp competition (so hopefully they will come and support us in future every time :D ) haha other than that i dono what to write le?

Oh and i'm trying to burn the discs so hopefully can pass to everyone on this friday !(11/7/08)

hey, ppl remember tat there is tis chung cheng cup tis sat..we meet at 0800 at paya lebar..dono enough time to make it there cos we may lost our way..hehe...we hav to report at 845..actual com start at 9am...cos 1st time j1 goin...if anyone need the map i got...good luck every1!

SP chess competition results:

Blitz match: KL(the only one who join) got 2 pt on the first and second day. Total of 4 points out of 7 rounds. And only 1 more pt to 3rd position :P Keep up the GOOD work!!

Team match: A total of 7 rounds, team A got 2 pt on day1 and 1 pt on day2. Making a total of 3 pt.
As for team B, they scored 2 pt only... Because 2 opponent team walkover >_<



Arr.... It was a mentally draining weekend for all of us. The team competition results were not very well.. I hope every will continue to practice even harder. How about starting with in depth learning of 开局? I believe that a good opening (开局) will help a lot in the later part of the game. If i am correct, everyone should have a soft copy of 开局 book. Do read it!

And please dun neglect your studies too : D
